The community of St. Joseph School nurtures our students through academic excellence, character formation and loving service, in a safe, welcoming and faith-filled environment.
Spirituality
As members of the St. Joseph School family, students, faculty, and parents are called to live and practice their faith in Jesus Christ. Our children are taught to serve from the young age of pre-k and they do so year round. They are also expected to uphold a strong sense of integrity and values. We teach our children to cultivate competence, conscience, and compassion.
Philosophy
Recognizing parents as the primary educators, we work to reinforce the education that parents have initiated. We encourage an inclusive curriculum which provides for the development of the whole child, spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. This comes with a full acknowledgement that each child comes to our school with their own distinct personality, and family background.
Shared Values
Students join together each morning as a school family to pray and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Our students are encouraged to develop a strong sense of personal faith and become responsible citizens with respect for self and others. We're a diverse school with children from many backgrounds, and even more so, we're a family, with shared goals for raising upstanding citizens.
