Pre-Kindergarten

 

The Pre K program is offered to three and four year olds as an integrated part of the Saint Joseph School community.

 

The children enjoy a nurturing learning experience which emphasizes strong social skills while promoting self-esteem.  The age appropriate curriculum is designed to stimulate growth in the areas of Reading, Math, Religion and Science.

 

Basic academic readiness is developed through theme units focused on Reading and Math skills.  The children will benefit from “hands on” learning to develop large and small motor skills such as working with building blocks and puzzles.

 

In addition to the traditional curriculum, students will experience enrichment classes in Art, Music, Physical Education, Library and Spanish.
