St Joseph School Home School Association

School Association (HSA) consists of the Pastor of St. Joseph Church, the Principal and parents of St. Joseph School. The purpose of the Home and School Association is to sponsor fundraisers and social activities that improve St. Joseph School facilities and promote school and community spirit. HSA sponsored events are an excellent way to meet other parents, to learn about the school, and to have fun while participating in activities that support the school financially. A strong Home and School Association is an essential part of any successful Catholic School.

  Fundraising
The Home and School Association must raise money each year to support the school budget. It is important that all parents get involved in the fundraising efforts. We can only be successful through the help of our parents and students! We are always looking for new ideas on fundraisers and 'fun raisers' for St. Joseph School, so please contact a HSA board member if you have an idea!

Fundraisers & Events

  Volunteers
Volunteers are necessary to further enhance St. Joseph School education. The Volunteer Committee (chaired by Jennifer Doherty, Kim Jarboe, Jackie Deakin, and Laura Halas) was established to assist the St. Joseph School families in finding ways to better serve the school and to guarantee both the students and their parents fulfilling and rewarding school experiences. Volunteers are needed for hot lunch, library help, used uniform sales, all fundraisers and social activities, and miscellaneous jobs during school hours. Please contact the Volunteer Committee or a fundraiser/event chairperson if you'd like to volunteer!

All volunteers must be virtus trained. The website with a schedule of training sessions is
www.virtus.org. The password is trust.
